Provided is a light-emitting device with little color shift even when driven at high power. A blue LED, a phosphor obtained by activating a luminescent center in Sr 3 Al 3 Si 13 O 2 N 21 , a metal element M, a trivalent element M 1 different from the metal element M, Fluorescence composed of an inorganic compound having a composition containing a tetravalent element M 2 different from the metal element M and one or both of O and N, in which a part of the metal element M is replaced by the luminescent center element R body. The crystal structure of the phosphor, Sr 2 A l3 Si 7 ON 13 and has a substantially identical crystal structure, the length of the chemical bond M 1 -N and M 2 -N, Sr 2 Al It is within ± 15% of the chemical bond length of Al—N and Si—N calculated from the lattice constant and atomic coordinates of 3 Si 7 ON 13 . This phosphor exhibits an emission peak between wavelengths 580 and 650 nm when excited with light having a wavelength of 250 to 500 nm. [Selection] Figure 1 |
