abstract A light-emitting device that uses a light-emitting element and a phosphor to achieve high color rendering properties is provided. A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element 12 that emits light having a wavelength of 380 nm to 470 nm, a CASN-based first red phosphor that is disposed on the light-emitting element and is dispersed in a resin, and a light-emitting element on the light-emitting element. And a sialon-based second red phosphor dispersed in the resin, and a sialon-based green phosphor disposed on the light-emitting element and dispersed in the resin. The first red phosphor is disposed on the light emitting element as the first red phosphor layer 22a, and the second red phosphor is the second red phosphor on the first red phosphor layer. The layer 22b is disposed on the light emitting element, and the green phosphor is disposed on the light emitting element as the green phosphor layer 22 on the second red phosphor layer.
