An Sr 2 Si 7 Al 3 ON 13 group phosphor having a composition represented by a general formula (M 1-x EC x ) a Si b AlO c N d , the average of the crystals of the phosphor A phosphor having a particle diameter of 20 to 100 μm, an aspect ratio of crystal of the phosphor of 2 to 4, and emitting light having a peak between wavelengths of 580 to 660 nm when excited with light having a wavelength of 250 to 500 nm .
