A heart muscle cell sheet can be three-dimensionally cultured and a heart muscle-like tissue can be constructed by culturing cells on a cell culture support which comprises a base material coated with a temperature-responsive polymer having an upper or lower critical temperature of dissolution in water of from 0 to 80°C, and then (1) adjusting the temperature of the liquid culture medium to a level higher than the upper critical dissolution temperature or lower than the lower critical dissolution temperature; and, if necessary, (2) closely adhering the cultured cell sheet to a polymer film; and (3) peeling off as such together with the polymer film. |
