(57) Abstract: The ratio of cobalt oxyhydroxide to nickel hydroxide in terms of cobalt atom is 1 to 10% by weight, and the average valence of nickel in the nickel hydroxide is 2 0.1 to 2.3. The present invention provides a non-sintered nickel electrode which provides an alkaline storage battery having a large discharge capacity at high rate discharge. |
