【Task】 Provided are a green tea extract containing epigallocatechin gallate and gallocatechin gallate as a green tea catechin in a total amount of 30% by weight or more to reduce bitterness and gummy taste , and a food and drink containing the green tea extract. [Solution] By adsorbent treatment, (A) epigallocatechin gallate, (B) gallocatechin gallate, (C): myricetin, (D) quercetin, (E) kaempferol, containing weight ratio ((C) + (D ) + (E)) / ((A) + (B)) = 0.0025 or less is obtained.
