abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for effectively storing cut vegetables while maintaining commercial value and a method for producing cut vegetables packed in containers. SOLUTION: Cut vegetables are subjected to a liquid contacting treatment with a solution in which chlorite and hypochlorite are dissolved, and thereafter, at least a treated material to which the solution is attached is stored for 1 to 24 hours, and then washed with water.
