titleOfInvention | Stabilized against di- and / or multimerization alpha-amylase variants, processes for their preparation and their use |
abstract | Variant of the alpha-amylase from Bacillus sp. A 7-7 (DSM 12368) having at least one amino acid substitution with respect to the parent molecule, whereby at least one amino acid residue of the parent molecule exhibiting a neutral or positively polar or charged contribution to the electrostatic potential of the molecule located on the surface of the molecule becomes a more negative polar or negative charged amino acid residue has been exchanged, the following amino acid substitutions are possible: starting amino acid to Arg (R) K, Y, C, H, G, A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Lys (K) Y, C, H, G, A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Tyr (Y) C, H, G, A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Cys (C) H, G, A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. His (H) G, A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Gly (G) A, V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Ala (A) V, L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Val (V) L, I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Lei (L) I, M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Ile (I) M, F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Met (M) F, W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D. Phe (F) W, P, S, T, N, Q, E or D.
