abstract |
The present invention is a silicone rubber sponge composition characterized by including: (A) 100 parts by mass of an addition-crosslinkable silicone rubber composition that contains reinforcing silica and that is liquid at 25°C; (B) 1.0-20 parts by mass of expanded resin particles that have a specific gravity of 0.01-0.3 and an average particle diameter of 10-200 µm, and that have an organic resin shell; and (C) 0.1-10 parts by mass of spherical particles that have an average circularity of 0.8-1 and an average particle diameter that is 0.001-0.5 times the average particle diameter of the expanded resin particles of component (B). There is thereby provided a method for producing a silicone rubber sponge composition and a silicone rubber sponge in which the fluidity of the silicone rubber sponge composition containing expanded resin particles can be enhanced, shrinkage deformation of the expanded resin particles due to pressure during casting and injection molding can be reduced, and any reduction of the sponge rubber density of a molded article and any variation of density or hardness therein can be reduced. |
