abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a gasket foam capable of stably producing a gasket foam having uniform cells with good workability. A method for forming a foam gasket, comprising the following two steps. (1) a step of feeding and mixing the constituents of the foam-curable organopolysiloxane composition containing a thermoplastic resin powder containing a gas into a mixing device having a stirring mechanism and a discharge nozzle; and (2) the step of: The obtained mixture is discharged from the discharge nozzle to sealing portions of various members, and heated to a temperature higher than the softening point of the thermoplastic resin powder to form a foam. A method for forming a foamed gasket, comprising curing.
