titleOfInvention | Selective use of polyoxometalates against the infestation of eukaryote cultures, virus cultures and microorganism populations with mollicutes and selectively mollicute-inhibiting and -killing polyoxometalate-containing substances and methods |
abstract | The invention relates to selective extracellular and/or intracellular use of a polyoxometalate - for the selective prophylaxis and/or selective post-treatment of mollicute infections and/or mollicute contaminations, - for the selective temporary or permanent killing and/or selective decontamination of mollicute contaminations, for the selective temporary or permanent inhibition of the multiplication of mollicutes and/or for the selective temporary or permanent setting of a constant concentration of mollicutes of and in virus cultures, cultures of single-cell and multi-cell eukaryotes and of and in microorganism populations, wherein - the polyoxometalate is applied at most in a limit concentration determined on a test culture in the dark or under irradiation with electromagnetic radiation and/or under atmospheric pressure or superatmospheric pressure, as a result of which limit concentration - the mollicutes are inhibited in their proliferation or are killed, as a result of which however - after an incubation period of 10 minutes to 100 days the polyoxometalate is applied to an eukaryote test culture, a virus test culture or at least one test culture originating from a microorganism population in the dark or under irradiation with electromagnetic radiation and/or under atmospheric pressure or superatmospheric pressure and after a mollicute detection after a standing time of 10 minutes to in perpetuity in the dark or under irradiation with electromagnetic radiation and/or under atmospheric pressure or superatmospheric pressure, the proliferation of the relevant eukaryotes, the relevant host cells of the viruses or the relevant microorganisms is not yet inhibited. |
