abstract |
The present invention relates to a rubber composition containing at least one elastomeric matrix including an epoxidised synthetic rubber (ESR) having an epoxy function content of 7% to 25%, a reinforcing filler, wherein at least 50 wt % of the reinforcing filler consists of an inorganic filler and a plasticizing agent including a polar liquid plasticizer for manufacturing a tire tread having an improved trade-off between wet ground adhesion and rolling resistance properties. |
