abstract Disclosed is a porous material (resin composition) having excellent heat resistance, excellent mechanical characteristics and excellent electrical characteristics, wherein the function of a porous film is controlled by regulating the pore size, pore size distribution and porosity of the porous film each within a specific range.nThe resin composition is characterized by comprising an engineering plastic having a porous structure wherein 80% by number or more of pores are closed pores, the average pore size is 0.01-0.9 μm inclusive, and the pore sizes of 80% or more of the total pores fall within a range of the average pore size ± 30%.
