Disclosed is a peptide capable of specifically binding to human IgG. Specifically disclosed is a human IgG-binding peptide tag which has a length of 11 to 16 amino acid residues and comprises at least an amino acid sequence represented by the formula I: C-(X)n-W-X-X-X-W-(X)m-C (I) [wherein n and m independently represent an integer of 1 or greater, provided that n + m = 4 or 5] wherein X-X-X in the formula I does not contain a cysteine residue, and the amino acid sequence satisfies either one or both of the following requirements a) and b): a) (X)n-W in the formula I is Za-G-Y-W; and b) W-(X)m in the formula I is W-G-L-Zb [wherein Za and Zb independently represent 0 or 1 or more amino acid residues]. |
