Method for deacetylation of biopolymers |
abstract |
FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of biopolymers. The proposed method for at least partial deacetylation of a glycosaminoglycan containing acetyl groups involves providing a glycosaminoglycan containing acetyl groups and having a weighted average molecular weight in the range of 1 to 5 MDa. Then, the reaction of glycosaminoglycan containing acetyl groups with hydroxylamine (NH2OH) or its salt is carried out at a temperature of 10-90°C during 2-200 hours to form at least partially deacetylated glycosaminoglycan. After that, at least partially deacetylated glycosaminoglycan is isolated. The glycosaminoglycan obtained by this method is characterized by a degree of acetylation of 99% or less and a weighted average molecular weight of 0.5 MDa or more. The use of hydroxylamine or its salt for at least partial deacetylation of glycosaminoglycan and a method for producing a hydrogel product are also proposed.EFFECT: invention is aimed at deacetylation of biopolymers containing N-acetyl groups under mild reaction conditions to allow for a subsequent crosslinking reaction and the formation of a gel structure.15 cl, 2 dwg, 12 tbl, 17 ex |
