abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixed fluoropolymer compositions used for coating. The composition contains low-molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene (LPTFE) and fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), which are in form of a liquid dispersion of particles with average size of 1.0 mcm or less. The LPTFE has initial melting point (T m ) 332°C or lower, and the LPTFE dispersion is obtained by emulsion polymerisation and is not subjected to agglomeration, decomposition under the effect of temperature or irradiation. Content of FEP in the composition ranges from 40 to 50 wt %, and content of LPTFE ranges from 50 to 60 wt % or content of FEP ranges from 75 to 85 wt %, and content of LPTFE ranges from 15 to 25 wt % of the total content of solid LPTFE and FEP. To obtain a coating, the mixed fluoropolymer composition is deposited on a substrate and cured while heating. The invention also relates to a fluoropolymer powder made from the mixed fluoropolymer composition.
