titleOfInvention Pulverizable powder of non-fibrillated fluoropolymer
abstract FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulverizable powder containing brittle granules of agglomerated primary particles of non-fibrillated fluoropolymer and optionally at least one other component, where powder has volume density at least 20 g/100 qu.cm and average particle size 5 to 100 mcm. Pulverizable powder is preferably free of water-immiscible liquid, especially halogenated hydrocarbon liquid. Other components, along with other, inorganic fillers, dyes, high temperature-resistant polymeric binders. In another embodiment of invention, pulverizable powder contains brittle granules of agglomerated primary particles of a first nonfibrillated fluoropolymer and at least one other non-fibrillated component. Invention also related to a method for preparation of pulverizable powder by spray drying of liquid dispersion. In a preferably embodiment, spray drying-assisted drying of agglomerated primary particles is followed by compaction of agglomerated granules. This operation can be carried out mechanically or by interaction of granules with hot gas to form fluidized bed. To achieve desired volume density and particle size, disintegration and heat treatment operation can optionally be performed. EFFECT: expanded application possibilities.37 cl, 9 tbl, 15 ex
