abstract Turmeric is a perennial vegetation belonging to the Ginger family, and its origin is India. Indonesia. China. It is a tropical Asian region, and it is widely used in food coloring to make curry. In the present invention, functional beverages and teas were developed using curcumin-containing turmeric extract extracted from the root of turmeric, which has excellent effects on liver disease and diabetes. Functional beverages and teas containing the turmeric extract obtained in the present invention has a form that removes the bitter taste peculiar to the turmeric extract, and thus can be targeted to various age groups.
