titleOfInvention | Radiation sterilization method for hydrophilic polymer coated medical devices |
abstract | A process of packaging a disposable medical device with a hydrophilic polymer coat with a gas-permeable packaging material, and maintaining the product moisture content of the packaged medical device for a time longer than the equilibrium moisture content in a predetermined humidity atmosphere. Dissolved material is reduced and sliding performance is maintained by the radiation sterilization method and manufacturing method for disposable medical devices, including the step of adjusting and the step of radiation sterilizing the medical device in which the moisture content of the product is adjusted. The present invention provides a radiation sterilization method and a manufacturing method for a disposable medical device coated with a hydrophilic polymer. |
