abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] A coating for reducing tissue resistance. The present invention relates to a material for medical or veterinary use which has significantly improved properties with respect to friction. The present invention also relates to making the above materials from existing materials that have suitable bulk properties but inadequate friction properties. The present invention also relates to hydrophilic coatings that provide improved frictional properties.
