abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition that is a mixture of a polymer containing a specific amount of a specific compound unit having a glycidyl group, a polycarboxylic acid and a silane coupling agent, thus being suitably used in rotary coating, because it gives coating films of high smoothness and toughness. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by using (A) 100pts.wt. of a polymer which contains more than 60% of the unit of a compound of the formula (R is H, lower alkyl; n is 1W5) such as glycidyl acrylate, (B) 1W100pts. wt. of at least one selected from polycarboxylic acids such as succinic acid and their anhydrides and (C) 0.1W30pts.wt. of a functional silane coupling agent such as trimethoxysilyl benzoate, preferably by dissolving the mixture in a solvent such as ethylcellosolve acetate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
