(57) Abstract: A therapeutic method and device for preventing deterioration of a drug (antibiological material). According to the present invention, quality deterioration of a drug (biologically active material) applied (applied) to a medical device is performed without using a bioactive material as a solvent, a catalyst, heating, or a chemical hand. This can be avoided by covering with a porous layer of polymer. Such biocompatible polymers are preferably formed by evaporation or plasma deposition and polymerized. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the medical device of the present invention has a structure suitable for introduction into the body of a patient (esophagus, trachea, colon, bile duct, urinary duct, etc.). The structure includes a base material and a biocompatible material formed on at least a portion of the structure in grooves, holes, slots, etc. on the surface of the structure, and at least on the bioactive material. It has one porous layer and a surface free of bioactive material. The porous material has sufficient thickness to allow controlled release of the polymer and bioactive material therethrough. |
