titleOfInvention Removable stent for body lumen
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable stent for implantation into a lumen of a human body. SOLUTION: The stent of the present invention is made of a soft and flexible filament having an outer surface portion. An outer bioabsorbable / biodisintegrable coating is provided on the outer surface of the filament to provide stiffness to the filament. This coating softens in the in vivo environment by absorption and / or disintegration, allowing the stent to easily pass through the lumen as a softened filament due to normal flow or manual removal of fluid flowing through the lumen after a predetermined period of time. Or can be removed.
