abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an external preparation of skin activating metabolism of skin, increasing elasticity of skin, having excellent effects on skin protection and water retention, by blending a protein (decomposition product) with a tranexamic acid. n CONSTITUTION: (A) One or more of a protein or a decomposition product thereof selected from soybean protein, gluten, collagen and gelatin are blended with (B) a tranexamic acid or a salt thereof (salt or sulfate) or a derivative thereof (e.g. vitamin ester) or a mixture thereof in the ratio of 0.01-20wt.%, preferably 0.01-10wt.% component A and 0.1-30wt.%, preferably 6-20wt.% component B.
