titleOfInvention Electrostatic charge image developing toner
abstract PURPOSE: To effectively improve filming phenomenon by dispersing by finely dividing a low-molecular weight wax to an average particle diameter of ≤1.0μm and dispersing the wax particles into a binder resin. n CONSTITUTION: The low-molecular weight wax gives releasability and heat response to the toner and it is preferred to use polyolefin, paraffin, etc., having a softening point of 130 - 150°C and to add it into the toner in an amount of 1 - 10wt.%. As the binder resin, vinyl type resins and polyester resins, etc., are usable in accordance with the use purpose. The wax is dispersed into the binder resin in particles in an average particle diameter of ≤ 1μm, preferably, ≤0.5μm, thus permitting the occurrence of filming to be effectively prevented. If the wax is disclosed to the surface of each toner particles in a great particle or block, electric chargeability of the toner is remarkably impaired. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
