abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED To provide a toner particle including a step of dispersing a release agent in a polymerizable monomer, in which the dispersed release agent is uniformly encapsulated in the toner particles without being released. A new manufacturing method is provided. SOLUTION Polymerization is carried out after finely dispersing a release agent in at least a polymerizable monomer such that particles of 0.5 μm or less on a volume basis are 99% or more and a median diameter is 0.001 μm or more and 0.1 μm or less. After granulating the polymerizable monomer composition in a liquid medium at 10 ° C. to 40 ° C., the temperature is raised to a predetermined temperature to polymerize the polymerizable monomer composition to produce a toner.
