Engine system and method for operating engine system |
abstract |
An engine system comprising a combustion means (3) for burning combustible substances in exhaust gas and a nitrogen oxide removing means (4) for removing nitrogen oxides in the order of description in an engine exhaust gas path (2) is not sufficiently utilized. An engine system that can use exhaust heat on the low temperature side, obtain clean exhaust, and supply power for a certain period of time after the engine is stopped is obtained. SOLUTION: A urea water hydrolysis means 8 for hydrolyzing urea water using heat generated from an engine 1; and an ammonia fuel solid oxide fuel cell 5 using the generated ammonia as a fuel. The battery off gas is guided to the combustion means 3 and processed. [Selection] Figure 2 |
