Provided is a photocurable composition capable of suppressing poor curing and reducing pattern defects in an imprint process under a gas atmosphere containing a condensable gas. A condensability comprising at least (A) a polymerizable compound component and (B) a photopolymerization initiator component, wherein the component (B) is liquid under conditions of 5 ° C. and 1 atm. A photocurable composition which is a compound having a saturated solubility in gas of less than 1% by weight or a Hansen distance (Ra) with a condensable gas of greater than 7.6.
