abstract |
To detect a trace amount of a biological substance (biomarker) quantitatively. A tissue is stained using as a staining reagent a particle in which a plurality of fluorescent substances are accumulated and a biological material recognition site is bound. The number or luminance of the fluorescent luminescent spots of the stained tissue is measured, and the expression level of the biological material corresponding to the biological material recognition site in the tissue is evaluated based on the measured number or luminance of the fluorescent luminescent spots.
