abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for recovering an active ingredient from a composite of a polyolefin and a polyalkylene aromatic dicarboxylate containing a relatively large amount of polyolefin without causing troubles such as clogging and sticking. It is to provide. SOLUTION: a) a step of recovering an aliphatic polyolefin from an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent from a mixture of an aliphatic polyolefin and a polyalkylene aromatic dicarboxylate; b) a step of separating and recovering a polyalkylene aromatic dicarboxylate. C) a step of introducing a polyalkylene aromatic dicarboxylate into an alkylene glycol containing a depolymerization catalyst to perform a depolymerization reaction, d) a step of recovering the distilled alkylene glycol, and e) distillation of the solution. The above-mentioned problem can be solved by a recovery method including concentration, f) a distillation treatment to distill the aliphatic alcohol, and g) a step of distilling / recovering the alkylene glycol.
