abstract |
A flexible electronic structure and a method of manufacturing the flexible electronic structure are provided. An exemplary method includes applying a first layer to the substrate, creating a plurality of vias through the first layer to the substrate, and forming an anchor where the second polymer contacts at least a portion of the substrate. Applying two polymer layers to the first layer. At least one electronic device layer is disposed on a portion of the second polymer layer. At least one trench is formed through the second polymer layer to expose at least a portion of the first layer. Exposing the structure to a selective etchant removes at least a portion of the first layer and provides a flexible electronic structure in contact with the substrate. The electronic structure can be peeled from the substrate. |
