abstract SOLUTION: General formula (1) (R 1 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms. N is an integer of 0 to 2.) A piperazinyl group-containing silanol compound aqueous solution containing a piperazinyl group-containing silanol compound and a dehydration condensate thereof, and having a volatile alcohol content of less than 10% by mass in the aqueous solution. According to the present invention, by using an aqueous solution containing the piperazinyl group-containing silanol compound and its dehydration condensate, the adhesion between two or more different materials is improved, and a composite material containing them has high mechanical properties. Properties and heat resistance can be imparted. In addition, since no alcohol is generated and the content of volatile alcohol is small, alcohol that volatilizes during use can be suppressed.
