abstract |
An aqueous solution containing a propylsilanol compound having a tertiary amino group at the γ-position and a silanol condensate thereof. [Effects] The tertiary amino group-containing silanol compound-containing aqueous solution of the present invention is a coupling agent that does not produce alcohol during use, has a high boiling point and low vapor pressure, and can be stored for a long period of time as an aqueous solution. As an aqueous solution having the characteristic that it can be diluted with water when used, it is very useful in applications of silane coupling agents and surface treatment agents.
