A conjugated diene based polymer represented by formula (1) or (2). In the formulae (1) and (2): the symbol "polymer" is a polymer chain which contains conjugated diene monomer units; X 1 and X 2 are a functional group selected from among hydrocarbyloxy groups, halogeno and hydroxyl; R 1 and R 4 are a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; and R 2 , R 3 , R 5 and R 6 are each a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, or alternatively R 2 and R 3 , or R 5 and R 6 may be united to each other to form a ring structure. In the formula (1): n is an integer of 1 to 3; m is an integer of 0 to 2; p is an integer of 0 to 2; and n+m+p=3. In the formula (2): s is 1 or 2; t is 0 or 1; u is 0 or 1; and s+t+u=2. |
