abstract | A resin composition for producing a biochip capable of forming a resin composition layer capable of preventing intermixing with other layers and a method for producing a biochip using the same are provided. A resin composition for producing the biochip contains (A) a polymer having a cyano group at the terminal and (B) a radiation-sensitive acid generator. Further, the method comprises (a) a step of bonding a first molecular layer comprising a first molecule having an acid-labile protecting group on a substrate, and (b) the resin composition on the first molecular layer. Coating to form a resin composition layer; (c) exposing and heat-treating the resin composition layer to form the first molecular layer corresponding to the exposed portion from the first molecule to the protective group (D) a step of removing the resin composition layer, and (f) a step of binding a second molecule to the first molecule from which the protecting group has been removed.
