Dispensers, storage devices and powder dispensing methods are disclosed. The powder is dispensed from a duct with a flat cross section to deagglomerate the powder and produce a spray with a fine particle size. The powder storage chamber may be closed by a rupture element, and pressurized gas can rupture the rupture element to release the powder. Preferably, the cross section of the gas supply to the storage chamber controls the gas flow during powder dispensing. In particular, the storage device has a number of storage chambers and associated ducts or nozzles, and is thus configured such that each dose of powder can be dispensed from a separate duct or nozzle. The powder is pumped into the duct at a gas pressure of less than 300 kPa to deagglomerate the powder and / or produce a spray. Preferably, the gas pressure reaches or exceeds a peak value, after which the rupture element ruptures and then the powder is dispensed with a low pressure. |
