abstract | An image forming apparatus capable of providing energy-saving and low-temperature fixing, excellent hot offset resistance, and providing a high-quality image. At least an image carrier for carrying a latent image, developing means for developing the latent image with toner, transfer means for transferring a toner image on the surface of the image carrier, and the toner. An image forming apparatus including a fixing unit 25 for fixing an image by heating and pressing, wherein the toner includes at least a binder resin including a crystalline polyester resin and an amorphous resin, and a colorant. The fixing means 25 includes an electromagnetic wave generating means 254 and an electromagnetic induction heating element 253 that generates heat when a magnetic field generated by the electromagnetic wave generating means 254 is applied. The electromagnetic induction heating element 253 is arranged on the surface or inside thereof. The image forming apparatus 100 includes a magnetic alloy. [Selection] Figure 1 |
