abstract | Provided is an electrophotographic developing device that achieves high image quality while preventing problems such as carrier and machine contamination by toner, buried external additives, and low charging. A developing roller and one or more conveying screws arranged in parallel with the developing roller, and containing a two-component developer composed of toner and a carrier, and the developer is stirred by the conveying screw. The toner is circulated and conveyed to the developing roller while the toner contains at least a binder resin and a colorant, and the binder resin contains a crystalline resin, and the toner has a volume resistivity. The carrier is in the range of 9.9 to 10.7 log Ω · cm, and the carrier includes magnetic core material particles and a coating layer covering the surface of the core material particles, and the coating layer contains 100 parts by weight of the resin. A developing device comprising 50 to 500 parts by weight of a filler, wherein the carrier has a bulk density of 1.8 to 2.4 g / cm 3 or less, and the conveying screw is non-conductive.
