(57) [Problem] To provide a sweetness improving agent that suppresses unpleasant aftertaste, bitterness, astringent taste, and irritating taste of a high-intensity sweetener with a small amount of addition. SOLUTION: A sweetness improving agent for a high-sweetness sweetener comprising quinic acid or a hydrolyzed coffee bean containing quinic acid. The above object is achieved by adding this sweet taste improving agent to foods and drinks or pharmaceuticals containing a high-sweetness sweetener improving agent such as aspartame, stevia, acesulfame K, sucralose and the like. |
