Detergent compositions in shaped, solid form (eg bars) comprising by weight 8-45% of non-soap detergent, 10-70% water-soluble salts, and 10-70% of water-insoluble material, are prepared by mixing the ingredients and granulating into a particulate mixture, then compacting the granules to a solid product containing less than 30% by volume of air. |
