abstract The invention relates to a method and a test kit for labeling and for multiplex labeling - in particular for fluorescent labeling - of DNA fragments during a PCR reaction in a reaction mixture with the aid of a coordinated primer design. For this purpose, it uses a labeled universal oligonucleotide primer and two sequence-specific oligonucleotide primers, one of which is provided with the adapter sequence homologous to the universal oligonucleotide primer. The approach in a reaction vessel is made possible by a specially coordinated thermal cycler protocol.
