The present invention relates to a set of primer pairs, comprising at least 5 pairs of primers, said pairs being chosen in order to obtain a set of DNA fragments specific for a plant variety of barley. This set is used in a method for obtaining a genetic profile of a plant variety of barley and in a method of discriminating plant varieties of barley by comparing the profile (s) obtained with profiles of known varieties. |
