abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of L-cystine by fermentation of a microorganism strain in a fermentation medium in which L-cystine precipitates in an amount of at least 70% based on total cysteine, characterized in that the O 2 saturation of the fermentation medium during the L Cystine formation is kept at a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 40 ± 3%. |
