abstract The invention aims to increase oxidation of peroxide compounds in oxidation, bleaching, detergent, cleaning and/or disinfectant solutions. This is chiefly accomplished by using compounds cleaving percarboxylic acids and involving perhydrolisis, during which said compounds release a leaving group which can serve as a substrate for enzymes, specially redox active enzymes.
