Microbiological method for eliminating halogenated ethenes |
abstract |
The invention relates to microbiological elimination of halogenated ethenes. Said method is characterized by the fact that bacteria strains which degrade halogenated ethene and grow with ethene as a source of carbon and energy are preadapted with ethene as a source of carbon and energy for reformation and for energy supply and brought into contact with the halogenated ethenes to be eliminated in an aerobic bioreactor. |
