abstract |
Suitable bacteria for the process, which grow with isoprene and/or with butadienes as carbon and energy sources and which degrade halogenated ethenes and/or halogenated butadienes, are preadapted by supplying them in a bioreactor with isoprene and/or with butadiene as carbon and energy sources for their new formation or regeneration, and the gas stream to be purified is passed into a bioreactor, which contains the preadapted bacteria. In this bioreactor the halogenated ethenes and the halogenated butadienes are removed from the gas stream by biodegradation by means of the preadapted bacteria. |
