abstract Human lung endothelin converting enzyme has been isolated in nearly homogeniously pure form. The enzyme is a zinc containing neutral metalloproteinase which is strongly inhibited by phosphoramidon. The enzyme has a subunit mass of about 100 kda and apparent masses of about 232 and 440 kda by gel filtration.
