abstract |
A copolymer emulsion which is contained in a composition for fiber binding for the production of a resin-impregnated fiber by binding a plurality of fibers during the production of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material wherein the resin-impregnated fiber and a thermoplastic resin are complexed with each other. This copolymer emulsion is characterized by containing a copolymer of 40 to 98.5% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and 1.5 to 60% by weight of another monomer that is copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl monomer, and is also characterized in that the number average molecular weight of the copolymer is 0.5 × 10 4 to 4 × 10 4 . |
