abstract |
Provided are an electrode, a lithium battery comprising same, and a method for manufacturing the electrode. The electrode comprises: an electrode active material layer including an electrode active material and a binder; an electrode current collector partially disposed on one surface or partially disposed between both surfaces of the electrode active material layer; a first region including the electrode active material layer and the electrode current collector disposed on one surface or between both surfaces of the electrode active material layer; and a second region which includes the electrode active material layer, and in which the electrode current collector is not present (free) on one surface or between both surfaces of the electrode active material layer, wherein the mixture density of the electrode active material layer included in the second region is less than 99% of the mixture density of the electrode active material layer included in the first region. |
