titleOfInvention Method for acidifying terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonate
abstract The present invention relates to a method for acidifying terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonate and, more specifically, to a method for converting terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonate into terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid using cation exchange fibers. The present invention can provide a method for acidifying terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonate, in which a manufacturing process is simple, and yield, purity, and an acid conversion rate are high. In the present invention, terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonate can be converted into terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid with a high conversion rate by using cation exchange fibers, and it is also very easy to remove salts formed during conversion.
